DAVID E. REDDICK
David E. Reddick is an author, public speaker, and community servant whose words inspire transformation across generations. A native of Anniston, Alabama, Reddick is a U.S. Navy veteran who specialized in aviation ordnance and F/A-18 Hornet weapons systems. During his six years of active duty, he earned multiple commendations, including the Stand-Out Warrior Award for decisive action that helped save lives.
After his military service, Reddick graduated from Jacksonville State University, where he studied public relations, communications, political science, and music. His creative talents led him to serve as sound engineer for the JSU Gospel Choir and Show Choir, as well as producing sound and video for the JSU Drama Department.
From 2012 to 2020, Reddick served his hometown as Ward 2 City Councilman, where he worked to improve civic engagement, champion community initiatives, and advocate for the needs of local residents. His commitment to service extends far beyond elected office—he has served on multiple boards, including the Transportation Advisory Board (as Chair), the Citizens Advisory Council, and the Museum Board of Calhoun County.
Reddick is the author of nine published works, ranging from motivational self-help to imaginative children’s books. His writing reflects a passion for simplifying complex ideas into practical, life-changing principles. Whether encouraging adults to set purposeful goals or empowering children through stories of resilience and hope, his mission is to inspire growth, faith, and confidence.
